Which kind of IL-12 kit is more accurate to detect it level in saliva?
Is there any modification will needed on the kit or on the procedure or in centrifuge if he used it for saliva?
Unfortunately, we have only validated this assay for plasma, serum and tissue. We therefore do not know the best way of preparing the samples nor do we have any saliva for this assay.We do not have any reason to suspect that the assay would not be amendable for saliva samples. I would suggest that you review any general literature regarding expected saliva IL-12 levels so that you get an idea for expected baseline level to see if the kit would be compatible.
