The standard dilution
Stary, thank you for the information; however, the attached COA has introduced further confusion. On the COA Mouse iFABP Standard Preparation, it indicates that the 5000 pg/mL standard (S7) was prepared from the stock solution by diluting 0.02 mL of the stock solution with 0.98 mL of Sample Diluent, suggesting a 50x dilution of the stock standard to obtain the 5000 pg/mL concentration. The hard copy tech manual says that the highest standard concentration (5000 pg/mL) is the reconstituted Standard with no dilution. Was the COA curve produced with a different Standard stock than is included in the kit I am using? I wanted to make sure that there is indeed no dilution of the reconstituted standard to obtain the highest 5000 pg/mL concentration.
